ModelSentry is built and published by Trieflow LLC. This policy explains what the app reads, what it stores, and what leaves your Mac.

Data we collect

None. ModelSentry does not collect analytics, diagnostics, prompts, documents, conversation history, model usage, identifiers, account details, or advertising data.

Hardware compatibility

The app reads processor architecture and chip description, physical memory, available storage, macOS version, and Metal availability. These facts are used on-device to recommend compatible models. They are not uploaded to Trieflow.

Network activity

ModelSentry connects to Trieflow-hosted catalog infrastructure to check signed catalog updates and to publisher-controlled model hosts when you choose a model download. Those services may receive ordinary internet connection metadata such as IP address under their own policies.

Prompts, documents, and inference

Supported prompts and text documents are processed by the selected model on your Mac. ModelSentry does not send that content to Trieflow or to a cloud inference provider.

Conversation history

History is off by default. If enabled, it is stored locally inside ModelSentry’s sandbox. You can clear it at any time. Removing the app may remove its local container depending on macOS behavior.
